Ms. Pollock joined the Yates Law Firm as an Associate Attorney in July 2008, bringing fresh perspectives and insights to understanding and resolving the needs of clients across a broad spectrum of legal issues. Ms. Pollock works tirelessly with our clients and colleagues to identify and deliver the most favorable outcomes.

Ms. Pollock and all of the lawyers at the Yates law Firm recognize that litigation and trial are sometimes ultimately necessary. Ms. Pollock has demonstrated superior litigation skills and enthusiasm towards civil trial work. Ms. Pollock began earning her credentials as a trial-lawyer even before graduating law school as a student-attorney prosecuting a wide array of criminal offenses, as well as representing indigent clients in state and federal courts on civil matters. Since joining the Yates Law Firm, Ms. Pollock has continued to expand her portfolio of trial experience, where she has played an important role in resolving disputes through litigation.

While Ms. Pollock always reserves litigation as the strongest viable option to achieving our clients’ goals, she recognizes that creative solutions including negotiation and alternative dispute resolution offer a cost-efficient result with significant long-term benefits for the parties. In addition to obtaining important litigation results, Ms. Pollock has played an invaluable role in achieving favorable pre-litigation settlement agreements for our clients.

Ms. Pollock’s background also includes non-litigation experience from her work with in-house counsel for a venture capital firm drafting employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, articles of incorporation, and commercial leases. Additionally, she participated extensively with all legal aspects involved with various business start-ups in the healthcare industry and counseled executives and investors on healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.

Ms. Pollock attended the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law, where she was ranked 6th in her graduating class and received honors in Legal Writing, Evidence and Evidence Practicum. Ms. Pollock is admitted to practice in both Colorado State Courts and the United States District Court for Colorado and works on litigation in various jurisdictions around the country.

Trial Experience:
Caver, et al. v. Sittner, 2009CV70 – Tried partnership dispute involving real estate developments to a jury in La Plata County, Colorado, obtaining a jury verdict in favor of clients on contract claims and statutory violations.
